Instructions:

1. The process of using passivation agent should be based on the vanadium and nickel content of the raw oil and the deposition amount of nickel and vanadium on the catalyst, and then calculate the required amount of passivation agent. Factors such as the properties of the feed oil and catalyst and operating conditions must be considered when determining the final addition amount. The only criterion is that the hydrogen content in dry gas decreases and the light oil yield increases. It is generally believed that the antimony to nickel ratio on the catalyst is 0.25-0.5.

  • This product can be added directly, or it can be diluted with 1:1 water and injected into the catalytic raw oil pipeline with a metering pump to mix with the raw materials.

Precautions:

1. When the metal passivator leaves the factory, it is prepared according to product standards, and users can dilute it as needed. However, it should be noted that the antimony content will be reduced accordingly after dilution.

2. The passivating agent should be placed in a cool, sun-proof and rain-proof warehouse to avoid collision and leakage during transportation.

3. The passivating agent addition process should be as continuous and uniform as possible, and avoid adding and stopping at times to avoid affecting the use effect.

4. The effect of the passivator and the optimal addition amount are determined based on the decrease in hydrogen content in the dry gas. However, this is not the only criterion and should be determined based on factors such as catalyst, variety, and operating conditions.

5. When using passivating agent, do not let it come into contact with the skin, and avoid splashing into the eyes and respiratory tract. If the above situation occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of water.

6. It is best not to mix passivators. Since various factories use different raw materials and produce a wide variety of passivators, sometimes mixed use will not only have synergistic effect, but may even cause serious consequences due to reactions.
