Product description

Propylene is the most important petrochemical basic raw material after ethylene. Propylene is mainly used to produce polypropylene and basic raw materials such as propylene oxide, acrylonitrile, acrylic acid, cumene/phenol/acetone. The most important means of increasing propylene production by catalytic cracking is to use catalysts or additives containing ZSM-5 molecular sieve.

 

In the catalytic cracking process,the selectivity of ZSM-5 molecular sieve is mainly reflected in the fact that macromolecules such as multi-side chain hydrocarbons and cyclic hydrocarbons cannot enter the pores of ZSM-5 molecular sieve. C6-C13 linear alkanes and alkenes with very low octane numbers in gasoline and light diesel fractions, as well as alkanes and alkenes with a methyl side chain, can enter the pores.Through the β-position cleavage of positive carbon particles, low-carbon olefins mainly propylene are generated.

Since there are no cages or cavities in the pore structure, no cyclization and condensation reactions will occur, and the reaction will not produce obvious coke. Since part of the hydrocarbons in gasoline are cracked into C3~C4 small molecular hydrocarbons, the concentration of aromatic hydrocarbons in gasoline will increase. The screening composition, wear strength and other physical and chemical properties of KMK-16 propylene production-increasing additive are basically close to those of catalytic cracking catalysts. Therefore, catalytic cracking propylene production-increasing additives can be mixed with conventional catalysts. There are two methods of use. One is to directly mix fresh catalyst in proportion during the process of adding fresh catalyst to the catalyst storage tank. The second is to use a small feeder to separately add it to the catalytic cracking unit as needed.Generally, the second method is used.

 

 

Product Dosage:

Generally, the amount of catalytic cracking propylene production-increasing additive is determined based on factors such as the properties of the catalytic feed oil, the properties of the main catalyst, the operating conditions of the catalytic device, and the yield of the target product propylene.It generally accounts for 4% to 6% of the total system catalyst. In order to achieve good results quickly, the method of “add quickly first, then add smoothly” is generally used. When adding for the first time, it can be added from the catalyst small feeder. Part of the balancing agent should be removed from the catalytic unit before addition to maintain the catalytic unit.The total amount of catalyst remains unchanged. The normal supplement agent can be added separately from the unit's small feeder or accelerant filling system, or it can be mixed with the normal supplement catalyst from the catalyst filling system. In addition, when filling, the speed of adding the agent can not be too fast to prevent the operation of the device from fluctuating greatly and affecting the normal operation.

 

When the catalytic system does not contain ZSM-5 molecular sieve, adding 4%KMK-16 propylene production additive can increase the propylene yield by more than 1 percentage point, increase the liquefied gas yield by more than 2 percentage points, and increase the gasoline octane number (RON) by more than 0.5 percentage points, but the gasoline yield will decrease. The additive is easy to use and can be adjusted according to the demand for different amounts of LPG and propylene.
